Common questions
Does the 10% donation cost me anything extra?
No. BAM earns a referral fee from the agent's existing commission — you pay nothing extra. The 10% charity donation comes out of BAM's portion, not yours.
Can I choose any charity?
You can pick from our 10 curated California nonprofits, or enter a different verified 501(c)(3) of your choice during the match profile.
When does the donation happen?
At closing. When your transaction closes in escrow, BAM receives its referral fee and immediately processes the charitable donation.
Do I get a tax receipt?
Yes. BAM will provide donation documentation at closing. Since the donation is made by BAM on your behalf, your tax advisor can advise on any deductibility.
What if my deal doesn't close?
The donation only happens when a transaction closes — BAM only earns its referral fee at closing, so there's nothing to donate if a deal falls through.
